By selecting submit you hereby apply to be admitted as a social member of the Returned & Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch) Herbert River RSL Sub-Branch Incorporated and agree to pay the $10 Membership fee.

The Rules of Incorporation (Constitution) are available for viewing from Secretary’s office upon request.


Herbert River RSL Membership Information

Joining the Herbert River RSL is simple and gives you access to a welcoming community and exclusive member benefits. Please review the membership eligibility requirements below before submitting your application.

Social Membership Eligibility

A person is eligible to become a Social Member of the Herbert River RSL if they:

  • Are not eligible to be a Service Member of the League
  • Are over 18 years of age
  • Complete the official Social Membership Application Form approved by the Board
  • Agree to be bound by:
    • The League rules and by-laws
    • The State Branch rules and by-laws
    • Any relevant District Branch rules and by-laws
    • The Association’s constitution and by-laws
  • Are considered a fit and proper person by the Board
  • Pay the applicable membership fee

Membership Fees

Annual membership is $10 and must be paid at Herbert River RSL Reception before your application can be processed.

Application Process

Once your application is submitted:

  • You will be issued a temporary membership card
  • Your application will be reviewed at the next monthly Board meeting
  • Temporary membership allows you to enjoy club facilities while your application is pending

If your application is not approved, your membership fee will be fully refunded and your temporary membership card will be cancelled.

  • This application is subject to the Liquor Act and Machine Gaming Act
  • All members and visitors must comply with relevant legislation while on the premises
  • Herbert River RSL holds Public Liability Insurance of $20,000,000
